Your authorized credit card on file will be billed for the current month when you join, and then on the 1st of every subsequent month. If you would like to cancel your account it must be 72 hours prior to next billing cycle.
If your bucket is damaged or lost/stolen you will be charged a $10 fee to replace it. However, if your bucket is defective then it will be replaced at no cost.
Leave the bucket at the front of your garage so that it is easy accessible for the driver and it is safe. If you leave it out on the same day of your regular refuse pickup please do not leave it next to those garbage bins.
It is recommended that you use a counter top bin and open your 5-gallon bucket only when putting material in it as well as keeping the lid closed.

We do not suggest you buy your own buckets, as we have tested which buckets do not lead to having odors or pests. The buckets provided are made in the U.S.A. and FDA grade proved bucket. Your buckets will be picked up once a week thereby reducing the odors.

You can cancel WITHIN 72 HOURS of your next pick up, but if you do so after the first of the month then you will not be given a refund. You can buy a 3-pound bag of compost for $7 shop right in our store. For those members who have been a member for 6 months you can get a complimentary 5 lb bag of compost. However, if you do not want to get compost it can be donated to a local school or community garden.
If you need to cancel do so before the first of every month and your 5-gallon buckets will be collected. If you cancel after that time period, then you will not be charged the following month. If you do not cancel before the first of the month Grounds For A Peel Composting Inc. will continue to service your house unless you direct us not to do so, and your buckets will be collected. There will be no refunds made.
If you want to cancel your yearly membership you can do so within 30 days of signing up. You will be charged only for the 30 days and receive a credit of the remaining balance. Any remaining whole months will be credited back at the current rate.
